Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMICHELLE MCDONALD (nee Maletic) March 13, 1966 at 08:10 a.m. to August 14, 2007 Our darling passed away suddenly at St. Boniface Hospital. She was the Beloved wife of Duncan, daughter of Ron and Penny, sister of Tani (Dale), Garth (Lisa), and Brett (Jessica). To her nephews Foster, and Griffin, and her niece Kiah she was their adored Auntie Shall . She also leaves to mourn Duncan's family and many loved nephews and nieces. Michelle and Duncan gave each other many years of love, happiness and fun, as well as support in the hard and difficult times. Michelle was born in Upland, California, and came to Winnipeg when she was four months old. After developing Diabetes at age eight, she faced many physical trials, but she always kept her spirits very high. She had a childlike loving quality and was one of a kind, which made her delight in the very simplest things that so many take for granted - a chubby bird, a bright colour, a family of ducks, a friendly animal or even a well-fed cat. This quality is what delighted and drew her nephews and nieces to her. She loved music and poetry and had a beautiful and true singing voice, played guitar when she was younger, had much artistic talent, and wrote poetry, many which revealed her faith in God. The Asking Of Help me to cope with my worries and fears; Make me accept how things are. Encourage my heart to know gladness and truth And let all my problems seem far. Work with my mind to let it be open, Allow good things to prevail. When all appears lost and sadness creeps in, Please help to make fresh what is stale. Should something happen I have to endure But the burden is too much to bear, Lead me by hand to Your knowledge and strength Where I'll find what I need through my prayer. Michelle McDonald 1994 How do we continue without you our Darling? We love you so much and miss you - there are no words to tell you all that is in our hearts. Please God, remember Michelle on that Day when your Son returns to resurrect those who know You. May she have a place on this earth when your Son rules in righteousness and peace. And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain, for the former things have passed away. Revelations 21:4 We all found it very difficult to watch as the Diabetes began to take its toll on Michelle Our family wishes to thank all the ER staff at St. Boniface for their efforts and care. In lieu of flowers, donations in Michelle's name can be made to the Canadian Juvenile Diabetes Association. Funeral Service will be held at Cropo Funeral Home, 1442 Main St., on Saturday, August 18 at 10:00 a.m. CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL 586-8044
